      If the question is about growing plants, there are on going research activities to find out if it would be possible, in which conditions and which plant would be the more suited to this unusual and harsh environment. Greenhouses would be required. A difficulty is also not only to grow the plants but to provide them the nutrients that they need and that you can not carry with you to Mars.
